Survivor Series (2019) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network event, produced by WWE for their Raw, SmackDown, and NXT brands. It took place on November 24, 2019 at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois. It was the 33rd event under the Survivor Series chronology; the first to feature the NXT brand (including NXT’s sister brand NXT UK, which was grouped under the NXT umbrella) and the first to feature triple threat Survivor Series elimination tag team matches. Like previous years, the theme of the event was brand supremacy and featured matches involving wrestlers from the brands against each other.
Ten matches were contested at the event, including three on the Kickoff pre-show. In the main event, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler defeated Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in a non-title triple threat match. In the opening bout, Team NXT won the women’s Survivor Series elimination match while Team SmackDown won the men’s. NXT won brand supremacy by winning four of the seven interbrand matches; SmackDown won two while Raw only won one. In what were the only non-interbrand matches on the card, all three of WWE’s world championships were defended: Brock Lesnar retained the WWE Championship against Rey Mysterio in a No Holds Barred match, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt retained the Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan, and Adam Cole retained the NXT Championship against Pete Dunne.
